Tainan to Host Inaugural Fastener Industry Show in 2025

The Bureau of Economic Development, Tainan City Government, has announced a partnership with Economic Daily News to host the first-ever Tainan Fastener International Industry Show. The event will take place at ICC Tainan from August 14 to 17, 2025. Companies registering before the end of January 2025 can take advantage of an early bird discount.

Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-Che highlighted Taiwan's advancements in the fastener industry, emphasizing its shift toward high-value products supported by sophisticated manufacturing technologies and robust supply chain clusters. “Major fastener manufacturers in Taiwan are increasingly focusing on sectors like electric vehicles, aerospace, and medical devices,” Huang stated. He noted that Tainan’s Rende and Gueiren districts are key hubs for the fastener industry. Hosting the exhibition at ICC Tainan offers manufacturers an opportunity to collaborate, exchange insights, and showcase their innovations. Buyers will also have the chance to visit nearby factories, spurring purchasing opportunities across diverse applications.

Lin Jung-Chuan, Director of the Bureau of Economic Development, shared further details about the event, which will center on six major themes: Fasteners, Mechanical Equipment, Raw Materials, ESG & Sustainability, Molds, and Hand Tools. The show will spotlight advancements in high-value, low-carbon, and precision manufacturing, presenting the full fastener industry chain from upstream to downstream.
