2024/10/04 | By Andrew Hsu

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) starting on October 27, showcasing cutting-edge products, solutions, and services aimed at fostering industry exchange and supporting smart city development.

A highlight of this year's event is the expansion of the Connected Lighting Zone, which will now feature as the Hall of Connected Lighting. This upgrade reflects the market's growing demand for smart lighting solutions and high-quality design. Additionally, the fair will introduce a Smart Pole & Solution Zone, where innovative technologies aimed at optimizing energy efficiency and improving urban living standards will be on display. Products featured include advanced sensors, adjustable lighting systems, traffic detection solutions for real-time management, and solar-powered lighting to reduce energy consumption. Other key zones include Horticultural Lighting, Outdoor & Public Lighting, and Technical & Professional Lighting, offering specialized solutions for outdoor commercial and industrial needs.

The event will also host a series of seminars, product launches, and networking opportunities. A new addition, the Innovative Lighting Design Forum, will debut on October 27 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), with discussions centered on two themes: Arts of Lighting: Astonishing Design for the Dynamic Future and Lighting Design Tugging at the Heartstrings: Integrating the Cultural Legacy of RCEP Markets. Esteemed architects and lighting designers will share insights and highlight leading design cases from various regions. On October 28, the Connected Lighting Forum will focus on the future of interconnected and intelligent lighting applications, further advancing the conversation on smart lighting technologies.

In addition, Economic Daily News/CENS will organize an exhibition group with 69 prominent exhibitors, occupying 151 booths, to showcase their latest innovations at this prestigious event.
